Excursion Tour of Management Department to Amritsar – The Students of Management Science Department, TERii, Kurukshetra got a golden opportunity to visit Golden city of India- Amritsar for a one day excursion on Saturday, March, 17th 2018. The trip was indeed a very memorable one for the Fifty Students of BBA and MBA, as they visited all the places of tourist interested in the city that is- Wagah Border, Durgiana Temple, Golden Temple, Amritsar Craft Market, Jallianwala Bagh and Khalsa College. They were accompanied by the Department Head, Dr. Sarthak Gaur, Asst. Prof. Mr. Sunil Patel and Asst. Prof. Mr. Navneet Singh.

Wagah Border Located Close to the accepted redcliffe line, the boundary demarcating the territories of India and Pakistan upon the partition of India, Bordering the Village of Attari.

The Students were fortunate to attend Durgiana Temple, Which is situated near the Lohgarh gate in Amritsar. It is also know by other names of Laxmi Narayan Temple, Durga Tirth and Sitla Mandir.

The Golden Temple, The Harmandir Sahib also called Darbar Sahib, Informally referred to as the holiest sikh Gurudwara located in the city.

Jallianwala  Bagh,  a public garden in Amritsar houses, a memorial of national importance. There Student learnt about the historical aspects related to Jallianwala Bagh and were moved by the history of bone- chilling massacre. One can register themselves for this course at www.terii.in/registration
