The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established by the approval of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), to meet the growing requirement of engineers in Computer Science, Computer Applications and Information Technology discipline. Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education, training and research in various areas of Computer Science, Computer Applications and Information Technology.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has highly qualified and experienced faculty members, many of them hold doctorate degrees. Faculty members are actively pursuing research in areas like High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing, Network Security and Forensics, Wireless Networks, Computer Vision, Speech and Image Processing, Data Mining, Soft Computing, Bioinformatics, Information Retrieval etc. Department offers B.
