TERii Celebrated its 12th foundation day
Vermi- Compost plant, a waste management project inaugurated

Kurukshetra, 26th January: TERii Foundation Day started with the chanting of Mantras and prayers to the Almighty for the betterment of everyone.

On the 12th Foundation Day, TERii launched a flagship project named as TERii Talks. The First TERii Talks Speaker was Ms. Sumedha Kataria, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra. She presented her talk on Education and society.

On the same lines of adding innovative things, TERii Times- A Quarterly Newsletter was also be released on the Foundation Day. With expert writers from the industry and academia, TERii Faculty and the Corporate Resource Centre have also shared learning contents for readers.

As the quarterly communiqué of TERii, it will bring forward the Professional and Technical Skills Oriented learning contents from industry experts as well as from TERii Faculty. This Quarterly Newsletter shall be an E-Newsletter. The release of the 2018 Issue was done on the 12th Foundation Day of TERii by Ms. Sumedha Kataria, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra. The Newsletter have contents from Students and will be managed by a Student and Faculty Editorial Board.

TERii Secretary Aditya Gupta said “TERii is a Family and we give sincere attention to our role in the betterment of society. TERii Public School, has been toiling to help the needy through Udarta Se Samrupta (Equality through Generosity).”

TERii celebrated this day to strengthen the determination of quality education. Advisor, TERii, Dr. MP Gupta said “TERii feel proud that we are the leading institution with the best of infrastructure and faculty who thrive to transform the young minds into skilled professionals who make a strong nation.”

Along with the above, TERii moved one step ahead towards Green Energy and Clean Energy by establishing the TERii Vermi-Compost Plant. The plant shall be using the food and garden waste to make compost. The paper and other solid waste shall be segregated at the source and we shall do our bit to safeguard the environment.

The idea of the waste management Vermi-compost plant was well appreciated by the Deputy Commissioner and on the same lines even the other institutions of the area will be advised to start such waste management plants.

TERii Rose Garden was also inaugurated by the Chief Guest along with the Vermi-Compost Plant. This Rose Garden will add to the beauty of the campus.
