TERii CAMPUS VIEWS ON LOK SABHA ELECTIONS – 2019 WITH NEWS18 CHANNEL
What a day it was !! Such a spry , patriotic, prudent, and mature commencement of the day. The media channel NEWS 18 hold an event in the TERii Campus to seek views of the students and faculty of TERii on Lok Sabha Elections 2019.
The event started on a spirited note. Honorable Advisor, Dr. MP Gupta and respected Director, Dr. Sagar Gulati along with the other faculty members graced the event that took place. Every student and faculty was up with the thoughtful issues that adequately needs to be addressed. Almost all showed their keen concern towards the education system of the country that need to be empowered and the urgency to revitalize the MSME sector so as to provide jobs.
The main concerns that were conferred by the students and faculty were about the women empowerment, rising cases of sexual harassment, unemployment, detaching caste & religion from politics, effective implementation of the various schemes introduced by the government, the extent to which the youth believes that our political parties fulfill what they claim to the general public during elections, reservation for women in the centre and the need for rendering attention to the MSMEs by the government.
The way the students were curious about sharing their views and the way they presented them, it was obvious that our youth is actually WORRIED about their country! Although TERii have students from 24 different states, one thing that could be seen easily was their concern, not about their state, but about their MOTHER INDIA.
And undeniably the efforts of the electronic media to organize such events for the students are always perceptible.
